The Academy of Heritage Open Lectures

In October 2011, the Academy of Heritage inaugurated a new series of meetings open to the public. The Open Lecture Series of the Academy of Heritage aims to popularize the study program and to present the work and achievements of his collaborators from Poland and abroad.

For years, the International Cultural Center has regularly cooperated with many experts in the field of cultural heritage research, outstanding conservators of monuments and managers of cultural institutions. They have repeatedly participated in the ICC educational projects, which were addressed to a small group of specialists. Thanks to the open lectures of the Academy of Heritage, the achievements and achievements of these people can be widely presented to the public of Krakow and Poland. The topics of the meetings are devoted to research on cultural heritage, in particular heritage management and cultural institutions.

In addition, this series includes presentations of scholarship holders of the program of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland Thesaurus Poloniae, which has been organized by the ICC since 2009. Researchers from around the world who participate in this project share the results of their work with the public. As part of the Open Lectures of the Heritage Academy, there are also meetings dedicated to cities and their museum.
