MINImeetings with art - workshops

“MINI meetings with art” are a series of creative Sunday art workshops for children aged 4 to 10.

The art workshops focus on one concept characteristic of the current exhibition - searching for meanings for it and creating an object associated with it.

Due to the renovation of our headquarters as part of the FEnIKS program—European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, and Environment 2021–2027— we are currently hosted by Jagiellonian University. Starting in April, MINI meetings with art will move to the nearby Jagiellonian University Museum Collegium Maius (15 Jagiellońska St.).

Schedule of workshops for 2026:

Classes at the MCK:

January 18, 12.30 – How Cities Connect History with the Present

February 15, 12.30 – Monuments on the Internet

March 15, 12.30 – Museum Secrets

Classes held at the Jagiellonian University Museum:

April 26, 12.30  – Secrets of old universities (meet in the MCK lobby; for the first off-site class, we will walk together to Collegium Maius – our temporary workshop space)

May 17, 12.30 – The University Menagerie (Jagiellonian University Museum, entrance via the “U Pęcherza” Café)

During the summer, workshops will take place outdoors—in open-air settings or as walking tours:

June 21, 12.30  – Outdoor Workshops

July 26, 12.30 – How Did Rivers Shape City Life? A Family Walking Tour with Puzzles (registration required)

August 23, 12.30 – Symbols hidden in architecture. Family walk with puzzles (registration required)

The workshops are free. No need to pre-book (except for the indicated workshops).
