The exhibition presented in Szczecin at the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle until January 21, 2017 presented wall paintings by Jan Henryk Rosen, decorating the Armenian cathedral in Lviv. It is one of the most important works of Polish sacred art of the interwar period, which has not been presented in greater detail so far.

The exhibition presented Jan Henryk Rosen’s masterpiece – the wall paintings in the Armenian cathedral in Lviv. This eminent example of religious paintings from the interbellum period has never been presented to a large audience before. The artist brings together the elements of modernism and Byzantine art and, by the unique iconographic programme, helps to learn the exceptional character of the Armenian rite, largely unknown in Poland.
