Father Bernatek footbridge in the colors of the Ukrainian flag

On September 17, Father Bernatek footbridge was shining with the colors of the Ukrainian flag, blue and yellow. Illumination of the footbridge was an element accompanying the exhibition Ukraine. A different angle on neighbourhood organized by the International Cultural Centre.

The colorful illumination of the footbridge connecting Kazimierz and Podgórze often accompanies events important for the local community. The colors of the Ukrainian flag appeared on it on August 24 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence of Ukraine this year. In this way, Krakow showed how important its Ukrainian-speaking inhabitants are to the city.

Father Bernatek footbridge was highlighted on the first day of the exhibition devoted to Ukraine, organized by the ICC. The exhibition is open from September 17 to January 16, 2022.
