Heritage is not the domain of a group of experts. They will determine its value. These words of prof. Jacek Purchla is defined by a modern approach to cultural heritage. What is it? How is it different from monuments and what distinguishes them? How to take care of them and him? These are just a few questions that will be answered by postgraduate students of the Academy of Heritage.

Studies in 2021/2022 will take place in a hybrid form, partly in Kraków, partly online. Recruitment will continue until September 30.

The comprehensive educational program is in the form of lectures, seminars and classes in the vicinity of historic buildings and meetings with practitioners. The team of lecturers associated with the Cracow University of Economics, the Jagiellonian University: Jacek Purchla, Piotr Krasny, Andrzej Matlak and Piotr Dobosz, as well as recognized practitioners, such as Paweł Jaskanis - director of the Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów.

A great advantage is the field workshops in the field of servicing cultural institutions and the programs crowning the traveling seminar devoted to cultural services facilities. Each student has the opportunity to confront the theoretical knowledge gained during their studies with practice.
