Participation of the ICC Director in a meeting of Polish members of the ENRS

On 24 September, Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik, a member of the Advisory Committee of the European Network Remembrance and Solidarity (ENRS), took part in a meeting of Polish representatives of the organisation.

On 24 September, experts from Poland who are members of the bodies of the European Network Remembrance and Solidarity (ENRS) met. They discussed action plans for the coming months and the future direction of the ENRS. The meeting also focused on recommendations for the Network and a review of the organisation’s recent projects in member states, particularly in Poland.

In May 2026, the director of the International Cultural Centre was nominated by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Marta Cienkowska, as a member of the Advisory Committee of the European Network Remembrance and Solidarity (ENRS). Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik supports the organisation’s activities with her knowledge, experience and long-standing commitment to the development of international cultural cooperation. The Advisory Committee of the European Network Remembrance and Solidarity (ENRS), to which she has been appointed, brings together eminent figures from the worlds of academia, culture and politics from member states and countries cooperating with the organisation.

The International Cultural Centre and the ENRS share a commitment to fostering dialogue on 20th-century European history and to building a European culture of remembrance based on mutual understanding and cross-border cooperation.
