Kraków Airport is one of the most important infrastructure and economic institutions in Kraków and the entire Małopolska region. Last week, it was also awarded the “Cracoviae Merenti” Medal by the City Council.
To mark the airport’s anniversary, which was also attended by representatives of the ICC, the foundation stone for the construction of the new T6 passenger terminal was ceremonially laid. As Łukasz Strutyński, Chairman of the Management Board of Kraków Airport, pointed out, combining the anniversary with the launch of one of the largest investment projects in the airport’s history was intended to highlight pride in past achievements and respect for the past, whilst constantly looking to the future.
The International Cultural Centre also had the pleasure of collaborating with Kraków International Airport. Among other things, the company sponsored the second edition of the ICC’s publication entitled “Kraków: History and Art”.
We warmly congratulate the airport on its 30 years of operation and wish it continued success and growth.
