Position: Digitisation Volunteer
The duties of the person in this role will include:
• digitising photographic materials (photographs) held in the ICC Archive,
• ensuring the quality of the scans produced,
• working closely with the ICC team to gather and verify information,
• describing files in accordance with archival regulations.
Qualities of the ideal candidate:
• ability to operate scanning equipment,
• knowledge of image editing software is an advantage,
• conscientiousness, reliability and attention to detail,
• secondary education; students of humanities (history, art history, cultural studies, graphic design, etc.) are preferred,
• ability to work under time pressure and good work organisation,
• ability to maintain confidentiality,
• knowledge of regulations concerning document archiving and data protection would be an advantage,
• knowledge of English at A2 level would be an advantage.
Practical information:
• we offer the opportunity to work on-site at the ICC office in Kraków, on working days from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm,
• preference is given to candidates available for a minimum of 10 hours per week, totalling at least 60 hours.
