The project participants are carrying out field research in Poland, visiting Częstochowa, Kraków, Warsaw and Gdańsk. The meeting at the ICC provided an opportunity to learn about the Centre’s activities in the field of cultural heritage conservation and promotion, and to exchange experiences and perspectives between young researchers from China and experts specialising in the culture and heritage of Central Europe.
The delegation comprised a dozen or so students representing various academic disciplines – ranging from history and cultural studies to law, psychology and engineering.
Chinese students’ visit to ICC
On 18 June 2026, the International Cultural Centre hosted a group of students and lecturers from Tsinghua University, one of China’s leading universities. The visit took place as part of a research programme focusing on intercultural dialogue and research into cultural heritage, historical memory and contemporary social development.
