We invite book lovers to come to the “inside” of the ICC and spend some time with our publications. On 12 February, we are opening a temporary Central European bookshop and reading room at 25 Main Square! Here, you will be able to read, buy books and albums published by the ICC Publishing House, relax and work.

From 12 February, on the first floor of the ICC, in the gallery section, we invite everyone to the temporary Central European bookshop and reading room “inside”. It will be a space open to the public, a place for those who miss our gallery and all those who are looking for a cosy but creative place to work, create or simply relax.

What awaits you “inside”

Between 11.00 and 18.00 the bookshop and reading room “inside” will offer a carefully selected range of publications from the ICC Publishing House, where you can buy our books and the “Herito” magazine, but also sit, work, and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city – all with a beautiful view of Krakow’s Main Square. 

To mark the opening of this space, which is well known to our visitors but has been given a new look, we will welcome the first twenty people with a doughnut. After all, nothing is more conducive to reading than a little sweet treat. A good book is like a good doughnut – it sticks to your hands and surprises you with what’s inside.

Book Club, events and new opening 

The temporary ICC bookshop will also be a place where we will invite our audience to events organised while our institution is undergoing renovation. Among other things, it will host meetings of the Central European Book Club, as well as other events, which we will announce on the ICC website and on our social media.

The bookshop “inside” will be a preview and a preview of what awaits us soon thanks to the FEnIKS programme – a new ICC bookshop and café on the ground floor of the building, open to the Market Square, as well as new educational rooms and refreshed spaces in our institution, where we will implement a completely new programme.
