The exhibition runs from March 8 to July 20, 2025.

Event within the framework of the Romania-Poland Cultural Season 2024-2025

The Romania-Poland Cultural Season 2024-2025 is organized by the Romanian Ministry of Culture and the Romanian Institute of Culture, on the Romanian side, and by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, in cooperation with the Polish Institute in Bucharest, on the Polish side.


The exhibition “One eye laughs, the other cries. Art from Romania in the Collection of Ovidiu Şandora” is co-organized by the International Cultural Centre in Cracow and the Romanian Cultural Institute.

Author’s tour with Jakub Kornhauser: “Dzikie płuco. Awangarda w sztuce rumuńskiej”

Join us for an author's guided tour of the exhibition featuring works from the Ovidiu Şandor collection, led by Jakub Kornhauser. The poet and co-founder of the Center for Avant-Garde Studies at the Faculty of Polish Studies of the Jagiellonian University will speak just about the avant-garde in Romanian art.
