Exhibition Photobloc. Central Europe in Photobooks after the Krakow presentation came to the Czech Republic. Until October 16, 2020, it will be on display at the Art Museum in Olomouc.

We invite you to the finissage of the exhibition Photobloc. Central Europe in Photobooks - the first such comprehensive presentation devoted to the phenomenon of photobooks from this part of the continent. The exhibition gained considerable recognition of viewers visiting the ICC Gallery as well as critics. She was awarded by Radio Krakow "brand for the month" of December.
Lecture by Agata Pankiewicz and Marcin Przybyłko
During the next meeting accompanying the exhibition. Photobloc. Central Europe in photobooks we will consider how to find a form for what is exotic, strange, different, elusive or absent. Agata Pankiewicz and Marcin Przybyłko, authors of such photobooks as Hawaikum, will share their reflections related to the creation of photographic essays. In search of the essence of beauty (2015), Smart Object. Involuntary perversions of things (2017) and Uncomfortable (2019).
ICC available - educational program for deaf people
Bearing in mind the variety of needs of our visitors, we have prepared a special educational program addressed to deaf people entitled ICC available. As part of the project, we encourage you to take part in a tour of the current exhibition at the ICC Gallery, which will be translated into Polish Sign Language.
Meeting with Joanna Helander
We invite you to the next meeting accompanying the exhibition Photoblock. Central Europe in photobooks. This time our guest will be Joanna Helander, an outstanding Polish photographer, documentary film director, writer and translator. In an interview with Łukasz Galusk, she will talk about her experiences in working on documenting everyday life in the People's Republic of Poland.

Put your hand to the poster - promotional campaign of the Fotoblock exhibition.
What story can be read from human hands? Inspired by the extraordinary history of the photobook Working Hand by Janina and Henryk Mierzecki, presented at the Fotoblock exhibition at the MCK Gallery, we have prepared a special promotional campaign. Its goal is to create a unique poster promoting the exhibition, which will consist of photographs of the hands of people visiting our gallery. Attractive book prizes await the participants of the campaign.
