It is difficult to imagine the shape of today's visual culture without the ways of seeing developed by photographers from the era of Weimar Germany.

The first newspapers, as we understand the word today, appeared in the 17th century. During the workshop, we will make newspaper figures together and tell about the titles published in the interwar period: Berliner Ilustrirte Zeitung, Around the World or Illustrated News, which can be seen at the More than Bauhaus. As part of the Sunday workshop, we looked at the word CONTRAST and explain why it has so many meanings. The starting point was contrast as a characteristic feature in photography, and the artwork we made refered to contrast in art. Workshop was available at the ICC profile on Facebook on Sunday, April 25th, at 12.30. The classes was conducted by Marcin Krotla – ICC educator.

The first April workshop will be devoted to the differences between a portrait and a self-portrait, and its result will be an extraordinary artwork showing our self portrait.
