The city then and now. What differences can be found between the very old Krakow and the completely modern one? How does what has not changed in the city for centuries get along with what is being created now? We will talk about this at the MINImeetings with art workshops. And then we will glue, cut, draw and create! Children and parents are welcome.

At the beginning of the workshop at the ICC, we will ask ourselves a very interesting question: How do cities combine history with the present, i.e., what was in the past with what is today? Our example will be Krakow – one of the oldest Polish cities, where modern buildings stand next to old castles and tenement houses. We will learn how Krakow has changed over the years and see if old, historic buildings have always looked the way they do now. During our workshop, we will ask questions, talk and discover the history of the city together in an interesting and friendly way.

Children and their parents, with the help of educators, will also create a colorful art project. It will show what the city looked like in the past and what it looks like now. We will use various materials, cut, glue, draw and at the same time develop our imagination, creativity, and have a great time!

We also invite families from Ukraine to participate in the workshops – an educator who speaks Ukrainian will be present during the classes.

MINIspotkania ze sztuką (MINI-meetings with art) is a series of creative Sunday art workshops for children aged 4 to 10. The classes focus on a single concept related to various types of works of art or monuments. Together, we search for their meanings and create artworks related to them.
