Winter holidays: tickets for children, teenagers, and young adults for 1 PLN

Throughout the winter holidays (January 28–February 12, 2023), admission tickets to “Travelling Images. Małgorzata Mirga-Tas” were available to all visitors under 26 years of age at a discount price of PLN 1.

The exhibition at the ICC Gallery showcases monumental paintings and screens that the artist made from scraps of fabrics and fragments of clothing. Covering the period 2017-2022, the show features the internationally acclaimed series “Out of Egypt” and a series of large-format textiles titled “Herstories”. There are also new works focused on the history of the Roma in Nowa Huta and Roma memory. Hypnotic, vibrant with their richness of colours, textures and details, Mirga-Tas’s collages and installations tell poignant stories that powerfully capture the viewer’s attention.
