Where to start designing photo books? What are "photobooks" really and what is their uniqueness? Can a good photographer do without a great designer to prepare a unique photo book? How to search for a visual metaphor and give it a form? We invite you to a meeting with Ania Nałęcka-Milach, the designer of award-winning photographic books in Poland and in the world.

Ania Nałęcka-Milach (1977) - a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, the Faculty of Workshop and Design Graphics (diploma 2002), photo book designer (aka Tapir Book Design). The books she designed were awarded and distinguished in prestigious competitions such as Paris Photo / Aperture Foundation Photobook Award (USA / France), POYi The Best Photography Book Award (USA), Bratislava Photomonth Photobook Awards (Slovakia), The New York Photofestival ( USA), Photography Book Now (USA), Art Books Wanted International Award (Czech Republic), Photo Publication of the Year, PTWK - The Most Beautiful Book Competition of the Year 2018 (Poland).

The event accompanies the exhibition Photobloc. Central Europe in Photobooks .On the lecture day from 17.00 admission ticket to the exhibition at the ICC Gallery will cost only 2 PLN.
