We increase the accessibility of the ICC for visitors with hearing disabilities.

The International Cultural Centre is implementing the grant project “Hear the ICC. Adapting the infrastructure and programme of the institution to the needs of visitors with hearing disabilities ”. It is financed by the project by PFRON “Culture without barriers”.

Until mid-June 2023, we will allocate PLN 128,660 to adapt our offer to the needs of people with hearing disabilities.

We plan to install a permanent induction loop in the Ravens Hall and to purchase portable FM sets that will allow visitors with hearing disabilities to participate in our guided tours and city walks. Additionally, we plan to equip the ICC Gallery with tablets with films in Polish Sign Language, which will be helpful in visiting the exhibitions. We will also provide real-time streaming of meetings and lectures taking place at our venue with interpreting into Polish Sign Language.
