Villa Decius is rightly considered one of the most beautiful Renaissance-Mannerist buildings in Poland. In addition to the exceptionally well-preserved stylish form, this monument is also a monument of rich history. We invite you to another event this year as part of the ICC educational project called 12 walks for 12 months. Dr. Zbigniew Beiersdorf will tell about the extraordinary history of this unique place.

The number of places is limited. Meeting in front of the entrance to Villa Decius on ul. July 28, 1943 17 at 11.00.

Dr Zbigniew Beiersdorf - a historian specializing in the history of architecture and conservation of monuments. A member of the Society of History and Monuments Lovers of Krakow and the Social Committee for the Renovation of Monuments in Krakow. In the years 1990–1999 he was the municipal conservator of monuments in Krakow.

12 walks for 12 months - this is the ICC educational project inaugurated on the occasion of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018. Once a month, we invite you for a thematic walk dedicated to the known and unknown cultural heritage of Krakow and Lesser Poland. We discover the history of hidden treasures. Because Krakow - the city of a thousand treasures - you have to walk all year round!
