The 7th Central Europe Heritage Forum will be held under the headline “Responsibility and Renewal.”

The event will be held on September 4th and 5th at the International Culture Centre venue. The conference theme is related to the current situation in Ukraine and celebrating the anniversaries of the 1954 Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and the 1964 Venice Charter.

The Forum’s program includes various discussion panels and an opening lecture, helping the participants to broaden their knowledge and share experiences regarding protecting cultural heritage. During the Forum, there will be the following expert panels:

1. International criminal liability for the crimes against the cultural heritage

2. Who is (and should be) responsible for the heritage in Central Europe?

3. Landmark renovation 60 years after the Venice Charter

4. Heritage as a tool of social, cultural, and economical renewal

5. Post-war heritage renewal in Ukraine

On September 4th, there will be discussions regarding liability for the crimes against the cultural heritage, and on September 5th, we will discuss landmarks renovation. Each day, besides the panels, there will be a special lecture on one of the guests.
