During the meeting of the Expert Working Group on Cultural Heritage of the Visegrad Group Countries, which took place on April 21st, 2021, it was decided to change the date of the V4 Heritage Academy Summer School.

Due to the ongoing epidemic and the nature of the course, the essence of which is the exchange of experiences and good practices in the management and protection of sites inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List, this year's edition, which was supposed to take place in the Spiš Chapter house, was postponed to 2022.

Trainings as part of the V4 Heritage Academy series, carried out by the ICC since 2009, are addressed to employees of conservation services and cultural institutions, as well as non-governmental institutions involved in the protection of heritage. Permanent partners of the project are the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, the Council for the Protection of Monuments of the Slovak Republic and the Gyula Forster National Center for Heritage Management in Budapest.
