The next meeting as part of the "Mature for Art" series. The lecture took place on December 10, and was be devoted to the exhibition "Ukraine. A different angle on neighbourhood".

The exhibition in the Gallery of the International Cultural Centre was devoted to the notions as well as cultural and historical narratives about Ukrainianness created throughout history in Poland and Ukraine. Contemporary Ukrainian art occupies a separate place among these narratives, sensitive both to history and current social and political events in the country, and filtering this experience through the prism of pan-European or global perspectives. It is the work of young Ukrainian artists that allows us to better understand what contemporary Ukraine is like.

The lecture introduced the activities of selected figures of the local art scene, such as: Nikita Kadan, Alewtyna Kachidze, Vladyslav Krasnoshchok, Bella Logachova and Roman Minin.
