The vice-minister of Culture Marta Cienkowska's visit to the ICC

On Friday, July 5th, the International Culture Centre had an honor guesting the vice-minister of culture Marta Cienkowska and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage delegation. During this visit, the ICC was granted the silver "Gloria Artis" medal for service to culture for its outstanding cultural activity.

The vice-minister Marta Cienkowska also handed the decoration to 23 people working at the ICC, appreciating their contribution to the growth of international cooperation.

We are honored with this award recognizing the importance of our strives for culture and heritage, especially during this troublesome political situation in Central Europe. The ICC's activity stems from the belief in the need to know each other because only reliable knowledge can be a basis for partnership and cooperation in the region.

It was the second visit of Marta Cienkowska to the ICC headquarters since her inauguration as the minister of culture. It was a prime opportunity for the ICC to show how we merge modern thinking of cultural diplomacy with the popularization of the Central European culture in Poland.
