ICC more accessible for people with disability of sight

The TOTUPOINT system has been installed at the International Cultural Centre. It is a popular and appreciated way of making space sound and describing it, supporting people with visual impairments.

The system is based on a network of electronic markers that can communicate with modern mobile devices, such as smartphones. The markers are placed in the space of the building and the user who finds himself near a particular marker will hear a sound signal and receive information with a description of the place.

To use the TOTUPOINT system, just download the free application to your phone.

You can read the list of markers with descriptions at the link here.
