The Limits of Reconstruction

We invite to the Inauguration of the 8th edition of the Academy of Heritage: the inaugural lecture will be given by Prof. Małgorzata Omilanowska, Under‑Secretary of State in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The problematic aspects of reconstruction is currently one of the most commonly arising issues in the field of the preservation of cultural heritage and conservation; it is also an essential element in the construction of city identity and national, cultural politics. Selected examples of reconstruction will be showcased and elaborated on in relation to current, and frequently controversial, debate.
