The ICC has begun cooperation with the academic journal “Mundus Hereditatis”

The ICC has taken patronage of the journal published by the Academic Circle of Students for the Protection of Cultural Heritage at the Jagiellonian University. The cooperation is guided by common goals, including reflection on cultural heritage and its protection.

“Mundus Hereditatis” is a nationwide academic journal that brings together young researchers interested in disciplines such as art and heritage studies, conservation, archaeology, history and philosophy. It has been published since 2023 as part of the activities of the Academic Circle of Students for the Protection of Cultural Heritage at the Jagiellonian University. Its initiator and editor-in-chief is Jakub Urban. Prof. Piotr Krasny and Dr Andrzej Siwek are responsible for the scientific supervision of the journal and for reviews.

As with the activities of the MCK, the aim of the journal is to raise awareness of the cultural heritage around us and its role as a tangible and intangible carrier of memory, allowing human history and culture to endure.

“Mundus Hereditatis” is a free biannual publication available in both electronic and paper form, accessible in every national library under ISSN 2956-641X.
