The first meeting of the ICC Programme Council for the 12th term

On 7 July, the first meeting of the new composition of the ICC Programme Council for the 12th term (2026–2028) took place. During the meeting, discussions centred on the institution’s action plans for the coming years, the changes ahead and new avenues for development.

During the meeting of the Programme Council for the 12th term, those present discussed the ICC’s plans for the coming years, including a key project for our institution – the FEnIKS programme (European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment 2021–2027, the funds from which are earmarked for the comprehensive modernisation of the ICC’s headquarters at 25 Main Market Square. The changes at the International Cultural Centre in Kraków resulting from this funding and the redevelopment also affect the programme and scope of its activities, a matter which was also discussed by the members of the newly appointed Council.

The representatives of the ICC Programme Council for the 12th term will serve for the next three years. The composition of this body is appointed and dismissed by the Director of the ICC from among leading figures in the fields of art, cultural heritage and its preservation; experts in the fields of history, culture and cultural heritage of Central European countries; and directors of domestic and foreign institutions and organisations whose activities align with those of the ICC.
