The Exhibitiona about Chroatian Sabor was open in the ICC

On Thursday, October 19, the exhibition entitled The Croatian Sabor and Its History was open in the ICC. HE Andrea Bekić, Ambassador of the Republic of Chroatia took part in the opening.

The exhibition, developed by the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Warsaw together with the Croatian Historical Institute and the Croatian Sabor, consists of 15 illustrated, bilingual (Polish and Croatian) posters, which present the continuous tradition of Croatian parliamentarianism. For Croatians, Sabor was the institution that provided the foundation and the source of their status as a state and legal entity within the multinational communities to which they belonged for a millennium, before the founding of their independent and sovereign state. A number of posters address the relations between Poles and Croatians in matters of state, legal systems, and dynastic links.

The exhibition was organised to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the founding of the sovereign and independent Republic of Croatia. It was first opened on 19 October 2016, at the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. The exhibition was launched by His Excellency Marek Kuchciński, the Speaker of the Sejm, Her Excellency Andrea Bekić, the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in Poland, and Tomasz Głogowski MP, the chair of the Polish-Croatian Parliamentary Group.
