The exhibition of Włodzimierz Puchalskiego at Białowieża National Park

The exhibition “Homing. Włodzimierz Puchalski”, prepared by the International Cultural Centre and Muzeum Niepołomickie, was presented – from 3 March until 18 May – at the Nature and Forest Museum of Białowieża National Park.

On the exhibition more than 80 photographs of this celebrated Polish naturalist, photographer, artist, and educator were presented.They were accompanied by a description, underlining Puchalski’s relationship with the National Park. On the black and white photos the artist immortalised many unreachable regions of the Białowieża forest. He also portrayed animals living there.

The exhibition at the ICC, opened in the summer of 2022, was curated by Andrij Bojarov and Monika Rydiger. The show in Białowieża National Park is curated by Ewa Moroz-Keczyńska.
