Management of UNESCO World Heritage Cultural  Sites in Visegrad Countries
Training programme for young heritage professionals

The International Cultural Centre has actively supported the issue of cooperation between the V4 member countries since its inception. In September 2006, during their meeting in Krakow, Ministers of Culture of Visegrad Group decided on establishing a Group of Experts on Cultural Heritage of the Ministries of Culture of Visegrad Group Countries, and consequently the ICC has become a coordinator of the cooperation and organizer of educational programmes aimed at training the staff engaged in management of UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Sites.

The training program is addressed to heritage professionals associated with the protection of historical monuments and engaged in the process of the protection of cultural heritage, especially the WH properties in V4 countries. The programme has been scheduled under the auspices of the Ministries of Culture of the V4 Group and will focus on acquainting the participants with the sites on World Heritage UNESCO List in V4 countries and on exchanging good practices connected with management of the sites.
