Study visit of journalists from the Sestry.eu portal to the ICC

Yesterday, the International Cultural Centre hosted Ukrainian and Polish journalists working at the Sestru.eu portal as part of a specially organized study visit. This unique event was aimed at exchanging experiences, strengthening international cooperation and promoting cultural and artistic initiatives implemented by the ICC.

During the visit, the journalists had the opportunity to learn about the diverse activities of the MCK, presented by Dr. Łukasz Galusek, program director of the MCK. Special attention was paid to the exhibition "Odesa. The Long 20th Century in Art", which recently won the Marka Radio Kraków Award. Dr. Żanna Komar, the curator of this exhibition, guided our guests, talking in Ukrainian about the collected exhibits. Bartosz Sadulski, editorial secretary of the HERITO quarterly, talked about the behind-the-scenes of creating a magazine devoted to the culture of Central Europe.

During the meeting, there was also a discussion that allowed for the exchange of knowledge and experiences between Polish and Ukrainian participants. Journalists from Sestry.eu emphasized how important it is for them to establish international contacts and draw inspiration from different cultures.
The visit of journalists from Sestry.eu to the MCK was a great opportunity to deepen their knowledge and make new friends.
