The area of the former concentration camp in Płaszów occupies an important position in the consciousness of Krakow citizens due to its location and the role it played in the Second World War. At the same time, the history of the place after the camp was dissolved after the war is hardly acknowledged. Jason Francisco will address the postwar history of the place and offer some remarks on its potential contemporary function.

Received scholarships from the Fulbright Scholar Program, the Howard Foundation, the Puffin Foundation, and Thesaurs Poloniae.
