Roots and Treetops

On July 16, 2013, the participants of the “Roots and Treetops” project paid a visit to the ICC. The project aims at young Byelorussians who wish to improve their command of foreign languages as well as learn how European Union institutions and structures work. The major aim of the project – which is financed exclusively by the EU – is to support building civil society in Byelorussia.

The projects is jointly carried out by the British Council in Poland, Goethe Institute in Minsk, Alliance fraçaise in Moldova, as well as the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Lithuania. 120 participants of the project have arrived in Krakow. For 4 weeks they will be taking part in free intensive language courses as well as a series of meetings. They will also visit various institutions and organizations.
