Romania the land of wine – presentation and tasting of Romanian wines with Alex Casianov

Join us for a unique tasting of wines from Romania, hosted by sommelier, Alex Casianov. He will talk about the region's most famous winemakers, the most important local wine varietals and the most interesting cultural threads associated with Romanian winemaking.

The event will be held as part of the Romanian Culture Festival, organized by the Romanian Cultural Institute.

The tasting will immerse you in the flavors and culture of Romania. The presenter will introduce the history of the region's winemaking and offer a tasting of 6 Romanian wines from leading producers. Their taste qualities will be highlighted by the appetizers served and stories recalled by Alex Casianov, an expert on Romanian and Moldovan wine, as well as a promoter of the culture and cuisine of these countries. Those attending the event will learn about the most interesting issues related to the production of Romania's wine treasure and experience its benefits in practice.

Alex Casianov is a native Moldovan, sommelier, founder of the wine project Vineyards of Moldova, which promotes Moldovan and Romanian winemaking. He is a member of the Association of Polish Sommeliers.
