Radio Krakow Award for May for the ICC

We are pleased to inform you that the exhibition Plants and Animals. Atlases of natural history in the age of Linnaeus got a prestigious distinction for the best cultural event of the month May, Radio Krakow AwardThe jury praised the exhibition not only for being beautiful for the eye but also meaningful.

The exhibition won the recognition of critics of the most important Krakow media mainly due to the broad context of the story of the "great beauty" of nature. Preserved in ancient portfolios and atlases of natural history, it is still possible to experience directly, despite the worrying climate changes.

The jury also appreciated the exhibition at the ICC Gallery for promoting the idea that natural heritage, in the same way as cultural heritage, is an equally non-renewable resource for all of us. - The exhibition says about how beautiful nature and the whole world around us, but also how fragile it is and how little it would take to destroy it. This is a special message during a pandemic, 'Justyna Nowicka from Radio Kraków explained.

We are very happy about the next distinction and remind you that exhibition, can be admired at the ICC Gallery until October 18.
