Meeting with Tomas Venclova at the Lithuanian Embassy in Warsaw

On September 24, a unique meeting with the outstanding Lithuanian poet, essayist and intellectual, Tomas Venclova, took place at the Lithuanian Embassy in Warsaw in connection with the publication of his book at the MCK entitled "Lithuania, my homeland." The meeting was led by Edwin Bendyk, a publicist and essayist, who entered into a dialogue with the author about national identity, the history of Lithuania and its contemporary challenges.

During the conversation, Tomas Venclova shared his reflections on the past and future of Lithuania, and also referred to the complex Lithuanian-Polish relations. His deep humanistic message, rooted in personal experiences and a rich historical perspective, met with great interest among the event participants.
