Promotion of a book Na całe życie. Listy 1910–1954

Unusual, covering almost half a century correspondence Boris Pasternak, "the immortal god" of Russian literature and Olga Frejdenberg, an outstanding scientist, but also a lifelong friend and trustees of the writer. For the first time published in Polish, shows the personal fates of the characters on the background of intellectual and scientific life in Russia in the time of Stalin's regime.

The book inaugurates a series of publications realized by the Academic Publisher CORE together with The Centre for Polish-Russian Dialogue and Understanding, which shows the history of Russia in the twentieth century by fate's individual artists, writers and scientists, referring to the numerous, previously unpublished in Polish documents and archival materials for decades not available to researchers.

With the participation of: prof. Nina Braginska (RGGU, Moscow), prof. Danuta Ulicka (UW, scientific editor of publication series), prof. Wincenty Grajewski (UW, translator).

A meeting will be chaired by editor Małgorzata Nocuń („Tygodnik Powszechny”, „Nowa Europa Wschodnia”).
