Letter of intent for cooperation

On May 10, 2012, the International Cultural Centre and VIA CULTURA – Institute for cultural politics signed a cooperation agreement. Inspired by the ICC and its achievements in the field of culture and heritage, VIA CULTURA is a Bratislava-based body which was created to become the ICC’s counterpart institution.
The primary objective of the agreement is to strengthen and extend cooperation in the field of culture between the countries of Central Europe. It also provides for permanent exchange of experiences and carrying out joint projects.
The ceremony, which took place in Krakow, was attended by a delegation of seven Slovaks, including members of the Slovak parliament and the representatives of the authorities of Bratislava.
The agreement was signed by Ms. Mada Vášáryová, Head of the Board of VIA CULTURA, and Professor Jacek Purchla, the Director of the ICC.
