My Russia - lecture by Dr. Hieronim Grala

A lecture will offer an intimate account of Russia delivered by dr. Hieronim Grala, a historian and diplomat, who for nine years resided in two Russian capital cities. In his speech, Dr Grala will also address numerous stereotypes still present in both nations and vitality of mutual prejudices.

Dr. Hieronim Grala – a historian and diplomat. A lecturer at the “Artes Liberales” Department at the University of Warsaw. An honorary professor of the Moscow Academy of Economics and Law. From 2000 to 2009 he was the director of the Polish Cultural Institutes in Saint Petersburg and Moscow; from 2007 to 2009 he was also the First Councillor of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the Russian Federation.
