Krakow Workshops - a walk with design in the background

2019-11-16, 11:00 a.m.
The building at Smoleńsk 9 in Krakow and its history is an important and interesting chapter in Polish art of interior design and furniture.  We invite you for a November walk that will allow you to learn about the history and collections located in the building of the Technical and Industrial Museum in Krakow. The walk will be led by dr Michał Wiśniewski.

Meeting point: in front of the entrance to the building of the Faculty of Industrial Design of the Academy of Fine Arts, ul. Smoleńk 9. All places for the November walk have already been booked.

The International Cultural Center invites all year round to thematic walks devoted to the known and unknown cultural heritage of the city. Together, we visit inaccessible places on a daily basis and discover the stories of the unique treasures of Krakow. In 2019, we were already looking at the phenomenon of Cracow nativity scene, the treasures of the Polish Aviation Museum, the heritage of Jewish culture, we learned the secrets of the building of the Juliusz Słowacki Thearthe or the residential building of the Archconfraternity of Mercy at Sienna 5 street. The inspiration for exploring the cultural heritage of the city for us is the publication entitled A thousand treasures of Krakow, which was published thanks to the efforts of the ICC Publishing House in 2018.
