On February 4th, 2020, the ICC was visited by Her Excellency, the Hungarian Ambassador, Orsolya Zsuzsanna Kovács. During the visit, she met with the management of the ICC - Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik and Łukasz Galusek, and prof. Jacek Purchla, the founder and director of the Centre for many years. The meeting concerned joint Polish-Hungarian projects that could be implemented at the ICC in the coming years.

It is worth recalling that in 2017 the Centre presented the exhibition Zsolnay. Hungarian Art Nouveau, telling about the phenomenon of Zsolnay ceramics, combining technological innovation with the search for specifically Hungarian forms.

The ICC Publishing House has published books on the history and culture of Hungary: a selection of essays and sketches A Lesson in Central Europe by prof. Csaby G. Kiss, Budapest 1900: A Historical Portrait of a City and Its Culture by John Lukacs and Hungarians. A Thousand Years of Victory in Defeat by Paul Lendvai. Hungary was also the theme of the 26th issue of the quarterly "Herito".
