Renata Kopyto's farewell to the Nuremberg House

On Saturday, March 8, marked the farewell of the manager of the Nuremberg House. Renata Kopyto for 25 years led activities promoting culture, curated projects related to theater, film, literature and visual arts. She also worked with the ICC, so thanks for joint projects and activities were also given to her by director Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik.


Renata Kopyto was an ambassador of the dialogue between Krakow and Nuremberg. The International Cultural Centre has collaborated with her on many projects, including the exhibition “Nuremberg in the Lens of Lala Aufsberg” (2004) and the publication “Krakow and Nuremberg in European Civilization,” edited by Heiko Bandilla and Jacek Purchla.

The farewell initiative of Renata Kopyto, winner of the Kazimiera Bujwidova Award, at the Nuremberg House is the exhibition “Harowaczki”, which opened on March 8. Its curators are Renata Kopyto and Iwona Demko. The exhibition presents the works of Pamela Bożek, Lila Kalinowska, Anna Krenz, Anna Pilszak, Aleka Polis, Marta Romankiv, Nadine Zenker.
