Representatives from the French Institute and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute visit the ICC

On 27 March, representatives from the French Institute and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute visited the ICC. The aim of the visit was to introduce our guests to the work of our institution and to discuss preparations for the Poland-France Season 2027.

Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik, Director of the ICC, and Marzena Daszewska, Programme Director, spoke to the visitors about the ICC. Representatives of our institution gave the visitors from the French Institute and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute a tour of the ICC and introduced them to our activities relating to exhibitions, education and research. The meeting was attended by Salomé Dollat, project manager for visual arts, architecture, scientific culture and higher education, and Weronika Elertowska, coordinator of the Photography Hub and an expert in the visual arts at the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, which is preparing a programme of events in France as part of the Poland-France Season 2027, in collaboration with the Polish Institute in Paris.

Poland-France Season 2027

The Poland-France Season 2027 will focus on strengthening dialogue between civil societies, with particular emphasis on the younger generation of artists and cultural audiences. The programme of events in Poland will be organised by the French Institute in collaboration with the French Embassy in Poland. The Season will showcase the most interesting artistic phenomena and serve as a catalyst for lasting cooperation. Co-productions, residencies, research projects and initiatives linking the cultural and innovation sectors are planned. The mobility of artists and those working in the cultural sector will also be a key element. The programme will also address issues such as combating disinformation, opposing the resurgence of totalitarian ideas and defending human rights and civil liberties.
