We invited you to a guided tour of the exhibition “Lithuania. Two centuries of photography”. Adam Mazur and Natalia Żak talked about the reasons why Lithuanian phography was considered to be one of the most interesting phenomena in the world history of photography.

The curators , among others, answered the question how such a great interest in the medium of photography had come to exist in somewhere so far from Paris, London, or Vienna – the European capitals of modernity. What do the photographed objects, people, and situations ‘want to say’ about Lithuania and contemporary world?
