Cooperation Programme officially signed

On May 6, 2014, at the seat of the International Cultural Centre in Krakow, Dr Monika Smoleń, Under-Secretary of State in the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, and Kateřina Kalistová, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Czech Republic, signed the 2014–2016 Cooperation Programme Agreement between the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.

The documents specifies duties of both sides, which include offering support to Polish-Czech cultural exchange in all fields of culture, from theatre and music, visual arts, cinematography, literature, gallery and museum cooperation, to issues of cultural heritage and places of memory. An important aspect of Polish-Czech cooperation in the field of culture is the Visegrad Group, including the Heritage Forum of Central Europe organised by the ICC.
