The representatives of the American diplomacy visited the ICC

On 15 November 2022, the ICC was visited by Daniel Lawton, Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy and Consulate in Poland and Erin Nickerson, Consul General of the United States of America in Krakow.

On their visit to the International Cultural Centre they were also accompanied by Elżbieta Konarska from the US Consulate in Krakow. During the meeting with Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik, Director of the ICC, the representatives of American diplomacy were familiarised with the ICC mission and the purposes of its acitivities.

It is worth recalling that over the years, a number of exhibitions have been presented at the ICC Gallery, introducing the Polish public to American culture and art: “Masters of light. California Impressionism 1890-1930” (2003), “Faces of America. Portraits from the Collection of the Terra Foundation for American Art 1770–1940” (2006), “Andreas Feininger. New York in the Forties” (2010) or “Andy Warhol. Contexts” (2012).
