City and philosophy: Krakow as a metaphor of good life
A lecture by Peter Michalik
Peter Michalík is a philosophy PhD. student at Comenius University in Bratislava, cultural redactor of Slovak broadcast and urban walker. He studies philosophical, semiotical and cultural aspects of present - day Central European cities, focusing mainly on the question of memory. In his lecture, he will present his philosophical reading of Krakow´s urban space, which will later unfold into more general remarks about the relationships between philosophy, cities and a good life.
