An audiodescription of the exhibition "One eye laughs, the other cries. Art from Romania in the Collection of Ovidiu Şandor" in English. This allows more people to enjoy our exhibition.

The translation of the audiodescription into English was done for the ICC as part of a student internship by Kamila Breguła, a student of the Department of Translation Studies at the Jagiellonian University. Her internship supervisor and coordinator in the process was Regina Mynarska, an audiodescriber with many years of experience, coordinator of accessible events and accessibility trainer, who constantly cooperates with the International Cultural Centre in Krakow.

The authors of the audiodescription are Regina Mynarska and Dawid Górny. Dr. Agnieszka Seweryn, an internship supervisor on behalf of the Jagiellonian University, is responsible for organizing the verification process and supervising the quality of the translation.

Thank you to everyone involved in this pioneering activity! We hope that the project will become a permanent part of the ICC's offer and will support our foreign guests with visual disabilities visiting the ICC Gallery.

Audiodescription in English, as in Polish, describes the most important elements of the exhibition of contemporary Romanian art at the ICC. It allows visually impaired people to learn about the content that is presented in the exhibition in the form of images and to more fully experience the visual sensations present at the exhibition. We offer a general description of the exhibition and audiodescription of selected works – paintings, photographs, videos and other objects.
