Architectural icons of the present time

Lecturer:

Małgorzata Jędrzejczyk - art historian, curator. She studied art history at the Jagiellonian University, Universität Wien and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. A graduate of the interdisciplinary study program Environment-Technology-Society (Jagiellonian University). Author of academic articles on art and architecture of the 20th century and publications in exhibition catalogues and magazines. Co-editor of the anthology obraz/ciało and volume titled Komponowanie przestrzeni. Rzeźby awangardy. Co-author and curator of the artistic and scientific program Exercising Modernity (Pilecki-Institut Berlin). As part of her doctoral dissertation prepared at the Institute of Art History of the Jagiellonian University, she conducts research on the concept of space in the work of Katarzyna Kobro.

The series of lectures titled Decades with Art is an original selection of topics, updated, extended and supplemented with a discussion of one – each time different – exhibition that will allow the participants to revisit the rich and varied activities of the International Cultural Centre.
