For the second time prestigious European Heritage Awards – Europa Nostra Awards include two ILUCIDARE Special Prizes. The call for entries is now open. The deadline for submissions was 1 October 2020 (date of sending).
The European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards are Europe’s top honour in the field of cultural heritage. The Awards recognise outstanding conservation projects, innovative research; the dedication of heritage professionals and volunteers; and exceptional initiatives in awareness-raising, training and education. Among the submitted applications, two ILUCIDARE Special Prizes will also be awarded. The ILUCIDARE Special Prizes, part of the ILUCIDARE project in which the ICC is a research partner, will identify and promote best practices in heritage-led innovation and international relations. Awarded projects will receive either a European Heritage Award / Europa Nostra Award or an ILUCIDARE Special Prize.
The European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards are run by Europa Nostra in partnership with the European Commission since 2002. The ILUCIDARE Special Prizes are supported by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme, in addition to the European Union’s Creative Europe Programme for culture and the audio-visual sectors.
