Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik took part in the conference “Solidaric culture”, organised by MIK

On the 15th of December Agata Wąsowska-Pawlik took part in the discussion panel “New cultural landscape – challenges, chances, risk”. It touched upon such issues as: building cooperation between Polish and Ukrainian cultural communities.

The discussion was also joined by  prof. Janusz Mucha (professor at AGH and University of Bialystok), Nadiia Moroz-Olshanska (chairwoman at Fundacja Widowisk Masowych), Dominika Kawalerowicz (director at Wrocławski Instytut Kultury), Ivan Kysloshchuk (chief editor at UAinKrakow.pl). The discussion was moderated by dr Joanna Orlik – the director of Małopolska Institute of Culture.

The conference “Solidaric culture” was devoted to exchanging views and experiences in connection with the new, multicultural reality, resulting from the Russion aggression on Ukraine. Its iam was to build mutual understanding and cooperate for the common good – opening culture for all its creators and participants.
